The short film “Textile” was inspired by the exhibition Post War British Textiles at Copenhagen Design Museum. Gavin Edwards, the filmmaker, tells me that the idea was to bring the patterns to life with the aid of motion graphics in a dynamic and intriguing way. Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy is Fielding’s followup project after The Mighty Boosh. Luxury Comedy is a series of fantastical comedy sketches, all of which star Fielding. In this one, longtime collaborator Richard Ayoade and Noel play music producers Tod Michaels (a hammerhead shark) and Tony Reason (a ray).
