Probably everyone and his/her dog has seen this NYC loft apartment by now, and possibly also blogged about it, but this is one of those places that is so hypnotizing I can’t stop looking at it. It’s on the top floor of a former industrial building on Broadway in NYC and not surprisingly it belongs to an architect couple.

Compelling photo of a beautiful knit dress and scarf by Kelgwo in Chile. Natural knits don’t often achieve this level of absolute chicness. Kelgwo’s ateliers are in Santiago and in Chiloe Island where some of the traditional weaving orginates. “Kelgwo” is the name of a part of a traditional local loom as well as the name of a particular type of weaving.

Stream of Light Sofa by Olivia Lee. Probably in the category of “conceptual design,” this furniture piece was created by weaving, felting and crocheting natural fibres around a set of Vitra chairs and a stool. It has that ever-charming “reclaimed by nature after apocalyptic event” aesthetic.
