Hi Leslie,
Not closed for maintenance! I think you're mistaking me for the Cowichan Museum which is closed for maintenance. I don't have photos rights to pass on to you - you'd have to talk to the photographers. Sylvia Olsen is the person to talk to, the author of https://www.amazon.com/Working-Wool-Salish-Cowichan-Sweater/dp/1550391771
I have emailed you

Hello,

I realize you're closed for maintanance but I'm hoping your photo archive is still operating. I'm looking for vintage photos of Cowichan Sweaters for a new book by Vogue Knitting and I've seen two on your website that would be just perfect.

I would need permission from you of course in order to use them, and I also need hi resolution versions for our book.

Please could you get back to me at your earliest convenience (I'm on a very tight deadline!) and let me know if it's possible to use these images from you.

Thanks very much, I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Also, if you are totally unable to reach anyone, one way of getting an authentic one is to go vintage. This Vancouver Etsy store has a few for example... https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/266720333/vintage-cowichan-sweater-1970s-handmade
