In fact Vancouver has been destroyed by its own popularity and lack of any sense of management or heritage at the local government level. No vision, and no understanding of how to shape the growth of a city to keep the things that attracted people in the first place! Yet there are examples all over the world, as this blog points out. Shame some elements in Vancouver have been so navel-gazing they couldn't see that.

Requiem for my lost homeland, even if I couldn't wait to get out...

But back to the pics - gorgeous. Wonderful colour and detail. Excuse me, I must go book a ticket for me and my bike. Oh, ok, and perhaps pass by Vancouver to visit Ouno, it ain't all bad.

That's very nice looking. But playing devils advocate - how would you like to address the question of lots of people wanting to live in a limited space (Vancouver)?
