					<description><![CDATA[I love your blog and this is a great debate starter. I am as repulsed as you by the constant lack of taste or thoughtfulness in restaurants and bars which you&#039;ll find not only in Vancouver but all over the world. Although it&#039;s probably even worse on your continent than here in Scandinavia where at least some part of the population likes natural materials and creative ideas.

In my coloumn on the food blog called UmamiMart I wrote a piece last week somewhere in the same subject area, about table setting and visual dining experiences:
