<p>For those who haven&#8217;t seen it, here&#8217;s the <a href="https://www.livestream.com/democracynow/share">video</a> of the discussion between Amy Goodman of Democracy Now, Julian Assange of Wikileaks, and Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek. It took place in London over the weekend and was produced by <a href="https://www.frontlineclub.com/blogs/WikiLeaks/2011/07/wikileaks-bank-of-america-blackmail-assange.html">Frontline Club</a>.</p>

<p>You may have seen the work of architect Marco Casagrande here before—his <a href="https://ounodesign.com/2009/05/20/chen-house-in-taiwan-by-marco-casagrandefrank-chen/">Walking Barns</a> series in Finland or his Chen House in Taiwan. He is now involved in a project in Taiwan called <a href="https://ruinacademy.blogspot.com/">Ruin Academy</a>.</p>

<p>I can forgive <a href="https://www.designboom.com/eng/interview/antonelli.html">Paola Antonelli</a> for liking Karim Rashid because I love her. She&#8217;s the design curator at the MoMA in NYC and she has this amazing knack for animating our built and designed environment in an entertaining and charming way while also lightly inserting some very serious remarks about its history and politics.</p>

<p>Wish <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylXqc8TQ15w">Werner</a> <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xQyQnXrLb0">Herzog</a> would come by the studio and narrate our work in that soft, brutal, matter-of-fact German tone. Instead I just re-read the <a href="https://www.themorningnews.org/archives/spoofs_satire/be_not_afraid.php">imaginary Herzog diary</a>, below, to wallow in <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xQyQnXrLb0" target="_blank">Herzog</a> postmortemese.</p>
