fascinating—————-could U email me —-a picture of how it would look in color? any more big stumps left in BC? would love pictures of them–also the whole tree.
What have we done 2 our forests—almost gone–I guess—I just love trees!!! M.
There were only black and white photos in that era. I don’t imagine there are any stumps that size anymore… except for a few small patches we have cut down most of the old growth trees in British Columbia. A tragedy.
