My design partner, the artist Sarah Gee, is having an opening on Friday, July 9, for a 2-day solo exhibition at the beautiful studio of designer and TV person Brad Gough. Come by if you’re in Vancouver, especially if you didn’t have the fortitude to line up to buy her work at the Cheaper Show. Works on paper as well as geometric plexiglas sculpture will be for sale. See also this post about Sarah’s work. Among her art historical references are 60s geometric work from Vancouver including Gary Lee-Nova and Roy Kiyooka. 870 East Cordova Street, this Friday, from 7-10 pm. The piece at bottom belongs to me.
