Macquarie Bank, Sydney, Australia, by Clive Wilkinson Architects

Bank in Sydney, Australia, built like a vertical Greek village. Clive Wilkinson Architects. I actually can’t decide if I like this or not. I like the idea, but it still feels a little cold. Of course, it’s a bank, which to me might never feel right, architecturally speaking. I actually like the amount of empty space, which I’m sure helps creativity and productivity, but at the same time it’s an amazing demonstration of wealth and excess. More photos here.
