I was there by accident. These people were not.
Apparently it’s “anything goes” in fashion right now, but that’s been true for a while. Anyway, it’s never really “anything goes” – there are always those weird, arbitrarily-imposed rules. But it does feel like a confusing, shifting mishmash right now. Like the economy.
love this post. reminds me of nat purchowitz (spelling ?) and her “making all her clothes from scratch including shoes” project… I scored a really nice felt jacket of the frankenstein’s monster variety as a result of that… and who doesn’t love a good kilt?
Natalie Purschwitz! And her Makeshift project. I am wearing one of her skirts right now, actually.

she is a gem! turns out 1/4″ thick felt is ridiculously difficult to make a coat out of — one can hardly bend at the elbows… will check out your link now.
Anything goes – as long as it includes crippling high heels for women (only)….
@et Ha! No kidding. But “anything goes” is always anything but anything goes.
